Passengers are facing delays on the rails on lines through Ipswich Felixstowe, Colchester and Sudbury today due to planned engineering works.

All train lines between Ipswich and Felixstowe are being replaced by a bus service due to engineering work aimed at enhancing capacity on the lines.

Lines between Ipswich and Witham, including trains due to stop at Colchester and Manningtree, are also being replaced by a bus service due to track renewal work.

A replacement bus service will also be in place on lines between Marks Tey and Sudbury as a result of track renewal work.
