A DRUNKEN man sparked a scare today when he was seen walking in the road at Felixstowe.Police were called amid fears the man would be hit by a car in High Street just before 5.30am today.
A DRUNKEN man sparked a scare today when he was seen walking in the road at Felixstowe.
Police were called amid fears the man would be hit by a car in High Street just before 5.30am.
Suffolk police said they were called by members of the public who were concerned for the man's safety.
When officers found the man they discovered he had been drinking and moved him away from the road.
A police spokesman said: “He was found, he was a bit drunk and was helped on his way.”
Traffic in the area was held up while the man was moved on.
