Trains between London and Norwich face disruption until 6pm tonight after a lorry hit a railway bridge in Needham Market this afternoon.
Police were called to the scene on the B1078 close to Needham Lake at around 3.30pm today.
A police spokeswoman said the road was blocked for a time but the driver was able to reverse the lorry away.
The bridge was not damaged in the collision and the road was cleared by 4.10pm.
The 3.30pm London to Norwich, the 4.12pm Cambridge to Norwich and the 4.30pm London to Norwich trains were cancelled due to the incident.
Tains running to or from Needham Market may be delayed by 30 mins or revised.
A Greater Anglia spokeswoman said disruption is expected until 6pm.
