Greater Anglia passengers travelling between Ipswich and Cambridge this morning may experience delays of up to ten minutes. All lines are currently blocked between Newmarket and Cambridge, and trains are being diverted via Ely.
Disruption is expected until 6.45am.
A spokesman for the train service said: “The 5.10am Ipswich to Cambridge will divert to Ely and will not serve Newmarket, or Dullingham. The 6.42am Cambridge to Ipswich will start from Ely at 6.55am and will not serve Newmarket. We are sorry if your travel plans are affected by this disruption.”
