Train passengers coming in to, out of and through Ipswich are facing further delays this morning.

All lines are blocked after a lorry hit the bridge on Ancaster Road.

Abellio Greater Anglia have said that train services running through Ipswich may be cancelled, delayed or revised at short notice.

All services have been cancelled until a Network Rail engineer makes a safety inspection to ensure no damage has occured. The inspection was expected to be carried out by 8.45am.

The first trains affected by this incident are the 7am London Liverpool Street to Norwich service, the 7.40am Norwich to London Liverpool Street service and the 7.47am Felixstowe to Ipswich service.

The 8.25am Ipswich to Felixstowe service and the 8.54 am Felixstowe to Ipswich service have also been cancelled.

Services at 10am from London Liverpool Street to Norwich and 10.28am from Felixstowe to Ipswich have also been cancelled due to the incident, along with the 11.07am Lowestoft to Ipswich service.
