A group of travellers have arrived in Ipswich and the borough council says it will take “all the necessary and normal steps” to remove them.
The travellers arrived in the town this morning, with a number of caravans parked at the West End Road car park.
A spokesman for Ipswich Borough Council said: “We are aware of the situation and will take all the necessary and normal steps, along with our partners, to secure possession of the site.”
It isn’t the first time travellers have set up camp in the town car park, with several incidents in the past year.
In December, ten caravans spent three days at the site before moving on when the council threatened legal action.
Travellers also spent a week at the car park in May last year – moving the day after being served with an eviction notice.
Caravans then pitched up at the site again in July.
