Travellers have moved on voluntarily from car parks around the Copdock Interchange.
Several caravans were based at the Park and Ride and Tesco car parks.
Park and Ride land is owned by Suffolk County Council, while parts of the Copdock Interchange retail park are owned by Babergh District Council.
A Babergh District Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of the unauthorised encampment at Tesco Copdock and the Park and Ride.
“This is being dealt with in accordance to the Suffolk-wide protocols on unauthorised encampments and in partnership with ourselves, the Gypsy and Traveller Liaison Service and Suffolk Constabulary.”
