A DRIVER had a shopping trip with a difference today (Thursday) when she caused a row of shopping trolleys to smash into the window of a supermarket.
The 74-year-old woman had just been shopping at the Waterglade Retail Park, Old Road, Clacton and was pulling out of a parking space when her foot slipped onto the accelerator.
This caused the car to go into the trolleys which then hit a window of the Iceland store, but the glass did not fall out.
Ambulance crews attended the scene at about 10.30am but the woman and a male passenger in the car were unhurt and did not need treatment.
