A TRUCKER was airlifted to hospital today after the lorry he was driving left the road and ended up in a ditch.The man sustained back and neck injuries that were not believed to be serious but the air ambulance was the nearest resource available, a spokesman for the East Anglian Ambulance Trust said.

The man sustained back and neck injuries that were not believed to be serious but the air ambulance was the nearest resource available, a spokesman for the East Anglian Ambulance Trust said.
The truck, which was pulling a 40ft trailer, was the only vehicle involved in the accident, which occurred on the Debenham to Kenton Road, shortly before 2.30pm.
