A spate of burglaries in a Suffolk village has prompted police to launch an investigation.
Cash was stolen from a purse left on a kitchen table at a property on Fynn Lane, Tuddenham St Martin, between 7.15pm and 7:25pm on Monday, September 9.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said: “The victim was upstairs and called out upon hearing a noise, at which point the offender left the property.”
The offender broke in through a rear ground floor window.
Meanwhile, a laptop and a miniature stainless steel carriage clock were stolen from a property in Westerfield Lane in the village between 4pm on Saturday 7 and 1pm last Saturday.
The property was broken in to through a rear ground floor window.
Witnesses or people with information are urged to come forward. Call police on 101.
