A BERNARD Matthews worker has been injured in an accident at the company's Holton farm.The man suffered back injuries after he was crushed between a barrier and a crate at around 8am this morning at the farm which is at the centre of the UK's first bird-flu outbreak.
A BERNARD Matthews worker has been injured in an accident at the company's Holton farm.
The man suffered back injuries after he was crushed between a barrier and a crate at around 8am this morning at the farm which is at the centre of the UK's first bird-flu outbreak.
He was taken by ambulance to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
An ambulance spokesman said paramedics would follow all the standard decontamination procedures.
