A spokesman for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said the group were stranded by an incoming tide near Wells-Next-The-Sea.
Lifeboatmen ferried stranded holidaymakers to shore in an operation co-ordinated by coastguards in nearby Great Yarmouth.
