Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a further three arrested following an altercation in a Suffolk street.
Detectives are appealing for information following last night's incident in Bedford Court, Haverhill, which saw three men suffer wounds to the body, head and face.
Police have confirmed that five men, all from the town, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Station.
A 25-year-old and a 23-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder while a 24-year-old, 49-year-old and a 21-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of affray.
