EMERGENCY services were today called to a two-car collision in Ipswich town centre.

The incident happened by Neptune Square, near Suffolk New College, at around 9pm.

Firefighters were sent in case there were people trapped in the vehicles, but they were not required.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said there were no serious injuries.
