Two dead in helicopter crash

TWO British service personnel were killed when a Puma helicopter crashed near Baghdad in Iraq, the Ministry of Defence confirmed today.Another two people suffered serious injuries in last night's crash - but the cause of the accident was not immediately clear.

Another two people suffered serious injuries in last night's crash - but the cause of the accident was not immediately clear.

The families of the two dead service personnel had been informed of the tragedy.

British Puma helicopters are flown by the RAF - they are not part of the Army Air Corps which flies Apaches out of its base at Wattisham Airfield.
