TWO people from Norfolk appeared in court today following the seizure of 1000 ecstasy tablets.
Edwin Tagg and Elaine Helgeson, both 59, of Burkitt Street, King's Lynn, appeared at the King's Lynn Magistrates' Court, where they each faced three charges of intent to supply drugs.
Police recovered the haul of drugs, which also included cannabis and amphetamines, from a property in Burkitt Street during a raid on Friday, September 7.
The raid was part of a police crackdown on drugs in the region. During raids in Thetford last week, they arrested 14 people, 11 of whom have been remanded in custody.
Tagg and Helgeson have been remanded in custody until the issue of bail is addressed by a crown court judge tomorrow.
