Two in hospital after A12 crash

TWO elderly people have been taken to hospital today after a car crash on the A12.

TWO elderly people have been taken to hospital today after a car crash on the A12.

A car went into a ditch in Blythburgh, near Southwold, at about 9.50am, trapping the pair inside.

Fire crews, paramedics and police officers were called to the accident and firefighters released the two people from the car.

They were then taken to Ipswich Hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
