TWO men have today been arrested following the abduction of a lorry driver on the A14 and the theft of a lorry containing a quantity of mobile phones.A 42-year-old man from Walthamstow, London and a 37-year-old man from Loughton, Essex have been arrested for conspiracy to rob and are now on police bail pending further enquiries.

A 42-year-old man from Walthamstow, London and a 37-year-old man from Loughton, Essex have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to rob. They are now on police bail pending further enquiries.

A substantial amount of the stolen mobile phones, which were valued at approximately £3,000,000, have been recovered in the Essex area.

A 29-year-old male lorry driver was abducted at knifepoint on Wednesday last week at the Shell service station on the A14 Stowmarket-bound near the Orwell Bridge.
