Two men arrested in Ipswich on suspicion of intent to supply Class A drugs and money laundering

A 26-year old man from London and a 28-year-old man from Surrey have both been arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Ipswich.

Officers stopped a vehicle with two men inside in Waterworks Street in Ipswich around 8pm yesterday.

One of the men fled the scene and was detained in Upper Barclay Street.

An amount of cash and drugs were seized after the vehicle was stopped.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and money laundering, and have been taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
