TWO men have been arrested after a man was found unconscious in the centre of Ipswich, police said today.

TWO men have been arrested after a man was found unconscious in the centre of Ipswich, police said today.

An 18-year-old from the Ipswich area and a 22-year-old have been held.

A 47-year-old man was found at about 4am on Saturday in the car park in Portman Road, next to the football stadium.

He was taken to Ipswich Hospital and was transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge last night.

He remains unconscious today, a police spokesman said.
