Two people hospitalised after assaults

TWO people were taken to hospital after two separate assaults in Ipswich.The first incident was at about 12.30am on Sunday outside the Milan Pizzeria in Norwich Road.

TWO people were taken to hospital after two separate assaults in Ipswich.

The first incident was at about 12.15am on Sunday in Norwich Road, near Milan Pizzeria.

A 31-year-old man sustained cuts and bruises above his right eye and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.

The second assault was in Woodhouse Square between 10.30pm and 11.30pm on Saturday and left a woman with cuts and bruises. She was also taken to Ipswich Hospital.
