Two people hurt in separate crashes

EMERGENCY services were called to two Suffolk accidents today.

At just past 9am ambulance crews attended a woman who had been involved in a collision with a car in Needham Market.

At just past 9am ambulance crews attended a woman who had been involved in a collision with a car in Needham Market.

The extent of her injuries were unknown, but she was taken to Heath Road Hospital, Ipswich.

The smash occurred outside the old Town Hall on the High Street.

At 9.46am, the air ambulance, paramedics and fire crews battled to free a trapped man from his lorry.

It is thought the lorry overturned on the A134 at Bradfield Combust, near Bury St Edmunds after being involved in a collision with a car.
