Two people injured in Ipswich house fire

Ambulance crews treated two people at the scene of a blaze in Ipswich this evening.

Fire crews from Princes Street and Ipswich East stations were called to a home in Woodville Road at 8.18pm.

Firefighters put out the flames by 8.54pm and ventilated the property.

Two people were left in the care of the ambulance service, and the extent of their injuries is unclear at this time.
