POLICE in Essex are looking for two robbers who stole a cash box, containing £10,000, from a security guard.
The incident occurred at Lakeside Retail Park in Thurrock at around 11am yesterday when a Group Four Security employee was making a delivery to Burger King.
As he approached the restaurant, two men charged at him, which knocked him over and winded him. They grabbed the cash box and ran towards Matalan, where there was a small white van waiting for them. They then drove off at speed.
Both men are described as black, aged 18 to 20 and were wearing hoods. One had Afro hair, which was styled in small knots.
The 49-year-old security guard was left winded but not injured.
Police are looking at CCTV images but would also like to hear from anyone who saw anything.
