AN arson investigation is under way today after two suspicious shed fires in Ipswich.

A 3m by 2m shed used to store pictures and paint at the rear of a house in Sinclair Drive, off Wherstead Road, was set alight just after 10pm last night.

Then about 2.30am today firefighters were called to the back of a Wherstead Road home where another shed, again 3m by 2m, had been set on fire.

Both sheds were well alight when firefighters arrived at the scenes and both blazes are being treated as suspicious.
