TWO people were taken to hospital today following a two vehicle collision on the A144 near Bungay.One female casualty was released by firefighters from the wreckage of her vehicle and taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston with serious injuries.
TWO people were taken to hospital today following a two vehicle collision on the A144 near Bungay.
One female casualty was released by firefighters from the wreckage of her vehicle and taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston with serious injuries.
A spokeswoman for the hospital said the woman was in a stable condition.
The gender of the other victim is not known but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The crash happened just before 8am and involved a red Ford Escort and a red Nissan Micra and happened approximately two miles from Bungay on the road to Halesworth.
Police set up road blocks to divert traffic away from the scene of the crash.
