AN ELDERLY man was taken to hospital this morning after a two vehicle crash in Great Blakenham.

The accident happened at about 8.45am on the B1113 near to the old cement works in the village.
Ambulance crews tended to a 77-year-old man who was found to be conscious and breathing, taking him to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.
The accident happened when a silver Volvo and a white Ford Transit van collided at the notorious black spot.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance trust said there were two patients, both suffering from minor injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.
The accident happened near to the site of several recent collisions including a fatal crash which claimed the life of 22-year-old Abbie Pennell.
