Two-vehicle crash on A140

SUFFOLK Air Ambulance was called to the A140 today after two vehicles were in collision on the notorious A140 at Mendlesham.

One person was believed to have received serious injuries in the accident which happened at 3.

SUFFOLK Air Ambulance was called to the A140 today after two vehicles were in collision on the notorious A140 at Mendlesham.

One person was believed to have received serious injuries in the accident which happened at 3.15pm.

Police, fire and ambulance crews all attended the scene and one person was believed to be trapped in one of the vehicles.

Police set up diversions and are warning motorists to avoid the area as considerable delays are expected.
