UK: The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) measure of inflation rose to 4.5 per cent in August from 4.4 per cent in July, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said today.
The headline rate of Retail Prices Index (RPI) inflation rose to 5.2pc in August from 5pc in July, and the underlying rate of Retail Prices Index (RPI) inflation rose to 5.3pc in August from 5pc in July.
