Three people were rescued from a car after it came off the road and went through a hedge.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at 1.15am to Henley Road, Ipswich after reports of a crash – with smoke coming from a vehicle.
An appliance from Princes Street, Ipswich was sent to the scene. A police spokeswoman said a silver Peugeot 106 had come off the road near the junction with Lower Road.
She added: “Three people were in the vehicle and they were all suffering from shock, one possibly had a broken collar bone. None of the injuries were believed to be life threatening.”
Firefighters used a hosereel to extinguish the fire. It was under control by 1.35am.
