Two female patients were taken to Ipswich Hospital this morning following a collision between a car and a lorry in Ipswich.
The incident took place at the mini double roundabout at the Norwich Road and Chevallier Street junction at 6.25am.
Motorists travelling into town along Norwich Road faced diversions at the mini double roundabout onto Valley Road.
Fire crews from Princes Street and Ipswich East worked to cut the car driver out of her vehicle because she was complaining of back pain.
Two ambulances and one officer were also on scene and took the patients to hospital for treatment.
