A three-vehicle crash on the A12 near Capel St Mary caused delays for motorists this morning.

A blue Ford C-Max, maroon Skoda Octavia and black BMW 520 were involved in a collision southbound on the dual carriageway shortly before 7.40am.

There were no serious injuries, police said.

The outside lane was blocked for more than an hour before the stretch of the A12 fully reopened at 9.10am.

The inside lane was open during the incident, with traffic reportedly queuing back to the Copdock Interchange.
