Police are at the scene of a two-vehicle collision in Ipswich involving a car and a van.

They were called by the ambulance service at around 1.05pm today, Saturday, September 23, to reports of a crash at the junction of Cauldwell Hall Road and Spring Road.

A police spokeswoman said there were no reports of serious injuries as a result of the collision.

She said: “One vehicle is a van, the other is a car.

“We got the call from the ambulance service at 1.07pm.

“Whilst it was happening people were having to drive around it so there was some congestion in the area.

“There are only very minor injuries reported.”

She added that recovery of the vehicles was taking place as of 2.20pm and that traffic should go back to normal very soon.
