A van containing window cleaning equipment was stolen from a home in Ipswich following a burglary.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft, which took place at a property in Larchcroft Road between 11pm on Easter Monday and 6.50am on Tuesday.

Suspects entered via a bedroom window and stole three keys to a grey Citroen Berlingo – registration NG13VNO – before taking the vehicle from the driveway at the side of the house.

The vehicle contained specialist window cleaning equipment. A wallet and handbag were also stolen in the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw any suspicious behaviour during the times stated should contact Ipswich CID on 101, quoting crime reference 37/17865/18 or contact the charity Crimstoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
