A DRIVER was taken to hospital today with serious injuries after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a pub in North Suffolk.The man had to be cut free from the wreckage of his Escort van by firefighters after it careered into the Crown Inn public house in Bridge Road, Snape at just after 2am.
A DRIVER was taken to hospital today with serious injuries after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a pub in North Suffolk.
The man had to be cut free from the wreckage of his Escort van by firefighters after it careered into the Crown Inn public house in Bridge Road, Snape at just after 2am.
A police spokeswoman said: "This was a single vehicle accident. The driver was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance with serious but not life threatening injuries."
Three fire crews from Saxmundham, Aldeburgh and Ipswich attended the incident.
