SUFFOLK'S roads have claimed another life today after a van driver died in an early morning accident in Preston St Mary.
SUFFOLK'S roads have claimed another life today after a van driver died in an early morning accident in Preston St Mary.
The incident happened at about 6.15am today close to The Street and the junction of the A134 and B1071 in Preston St Mary.
It brings the number of deaths on the county's roads this year to 32 from 29 collisions.
In today's incident a white panel van left the road, went into a field and is thought to have hit a tree.
Police were forced to close the road near to Lavenham and Hill House Farm while investigations and recovery took place
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the incident.

An ambulance crew, first responder and medic attended the scene and alerted police to the accident.
They could not initially get to the vehicle but it is not clear why at this stage.
Fire crews were also called to the scene at 6.12am but Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service could not give any details.
Police are now searching for the man's next of kin and have not released any further details of the man's identity.
His age is also unknown.
