A MAN was taken to hospital today after crashing his van on an A14 slip road at Sproughton.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene at 7.11am today and firefighters were needed to free the man from the van. He was released by 8am and taken to Ipswich Hospital.
The van, which belongs to Ray Harvey Fish Merchants, was travelling along the Bury-bound slip road of the A14 when the accident happened.
It is believed he suffered some kind of seizure while driving the van which caused him to veer up the bank on the side of the road.
The slip road was blocked for at least two hours after the accident.
