Vandal smashes house windows

POLICE are today searching for a vandal who smashed three windows of the same house in an early morning attack.

Residents of Wherstead Road, Ipswich were woken to the sound of smashing glass at around 1.

POLICE are today searching for a vandal who smashed three windows of the same house in an early morning attack.

Residents of Wherstead Road, Ipswich were woken to the sound of smashing glass at around 1.15am today.

Two windows had been smashed on the first floor of the house and one window on the ground floor also came under attack.

A large stone or a brick was thrown through the double glazed windows with enough force for the glass to break completely.

A resident in a neighbouring property called the police after hearing the smash and saw someone running off down the road.
