A crash under the Orwell Bridge in Ipswich this morning saw one car leave the road and go down an embankment.
The two-car collision happened near Peppers Lane along The Strand in Wherstead, around 7.45am and involved a Ford Fiesta and a Vauxhall Meriva.
Suffolk police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident and firefighters helped to free people from their vehicles.
Minor injuries were reported.
A Suffolk police spokesman said as both vehicles were off the road, the incident did not cause any traffic problems.
The Ford Fiesta was recovered at 9.35am, while officers are still awaiting recovery for the Vauxhall.
