Vessel limps home thanks to coastguard

Coastguards came to the rescue of a distressed yacht with a fouled propellor last night.
After developing problems with his propellor at 10pm, the owner of the boat was still able to sail but, concerned about mooring at Harwich, he called the coastguard.

The 12 metre yacht was still able to sail but at about 10pm last night the owner was concerned about mooring at Harwich and he called the coastguard.
An inshore lifeboat based at the port accompanied the vessel – named Jennie – into Harwich.
A Thames Coastguard spokesman said the vessel was otherwise undamaged.
