VETERAN fund-raiser Frank Talbot has had 20 years of service to the Cancer Research Campaign recognised with the presentation of a certificate.
Mr Talbot, 84, a former president of Ipswich and Norwich Co-operative Society, was presented with the certificate to mark his service as treasurer to the campaign in Suffolk.
He took up the role when he retired from full-time work, and has no intention of stepping down from his voluntary role at present.
Over the years he has raised thousands of pounds for the charity, much of it coming in memoriam of people who have died.
