Firefighters put out a rubbish pile blaze within 12 minutes of being called out this afternoon.
Two crews from Ipswich’s Princes Street fire station were initially sent to the fire after reports a derelict building was ablaze.
However on arrival firefighters discovered the incident involved just a rubbish pile within the Waterfront building.
The crews were dispatched at 2.04pm and had extinguished the fire by 2.16pm.
