BUCKLESHAM: Proposals have been put forward for a small housing development at Bucklesham which would provide the village with three affordable homes.
Flagship Housing Group has drawn up the scheme to demolish a pair of semi-attached Airey style dwellings in Levington Lane and replace them with six new homes.
Three of these would be sold on the open market and the other three would be social housing for rent – three-bed family homes and a two-bed bungalow.
Each property would have two off-road parking spaces, private gardens and existing boundary hedging and trees would remain.
Planning officers at Suffolk Coastal council are happy with the scheme and recommending councillors to approve it next Thursday.
