A man wanted for recall to prison has been arrested by police officers.
Antonio Wells, 34, of Robeck Road, Ipswich, was wanted for recall after breaching the terms of his release licence, according to Suffolk police.
He was arrested in Ipswich yesterday morning and subsequently taken into police custody.
He has since been returned to the prison system.
Wells was previously convicted in October 2015 for ransacking a 16th Century house in Bucklesham in which jewellery and other items worth more than £7,000 were stolen.
He was jailed for 25 months following his trial.
A Suffolk police spokesman said: “Suffolk police would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance with this appeal.”
