POLICE are warning children to be on guard after an 11-year-old girl was approached by a man as she walked along White House Road, Ipswich, at about 4pm on Monday .
POLICE are warning children to be on guard after an 11-year-old girl was approached by a man as she walked along White House Road, Ipswich, at about 4pm on Monday .
The man, who was riding a child's bike, approached the schoolgirl and asked her where she loved. She refused to tell him and ran off.
He is described as white, about 50-years-old, with collar length grey hair and was wearing a mixed colour woolly jumper. He rode a pink or purple coloured child's bike and cycled off towards Norwich Road.
Anyone who noticed anyone acting suspiciously should call Pc Julian Ditcham at Ipswich police on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
