MOTORISTS have been warned to expect severe delays tonight following an accident on one of the regions busiest roads.Two lanes of the westbound carriageway of the A14 near Newmarket have been closed after a Mercedes collided with a lorry.

Two lanes of the westbound carriageway of the A14 near Newmarket have been closed after a Mercedes collided with a lorry.
The driver of the Mercedes was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The accident happened at around 4.34pm.
A police spokesman said motorists should expect severe traffic congestion in the area.
