A WASTE lorry driver was today taken to hospital with suspected head injuries after his vehicle overturned on an Ipswich road.The man was released from the vehicle by firefighters after being trapped for 20 minutes following the crash at the Claydon roundabout at the Great Blakenham exit of the A14 on the Ipswich bound carriageway.

The man was released from the vehicle by firefighters after being trapped for 20 minutes following the crash at the Claydon roundabout at the Great Blakenham exit of the A14 on the Ipswich bound carriageway.
He was taken to Ipswich Hospital at around 12.30pm.
Traffic was not affected by the crash but the lorry had to be emptied of its full cargo of litter before it could be recovered.
No one else is believed to have been hurt in the incident.
