A FLIGHT crew from Wattisham Airfield was today involved in the rescue of a teenager who fell off a cliff in Kent.
A FLIGHT crew from Wattisham Airfield was today involved in the rescue of a teenager who fell off a cliff in Kent.
A rescue helicopter was sent at 6.30pm to the Isle of Sheppey where a 12-year-old boy had fallen from a cliff face and broken his ankle.
The boy was airlifted to Southend Airport from where he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The flight crew were back at base by 8.45pm.
