The unnamed woman is believed to have leapt over the sloping cliffs near Reculver Towers, Herne Bay, Kent, at around midnight and spent around three hours trying to get a mobile phone signal.
An RAF helicopter from Wattisham helped airlift the woman to hospital in Margate with leg, back and head injuries but they are not life threatening.
