Wattisham helps after Sheffield floods

A SEARCH and rescue helicopter from RAF Wattisham was deployed to Sheffield in Yorkshire after severe rainfall left dozens of people stranded and two dead.

Conditions were so bad last night that a 68-year-old man was swept to his death while another body, believed to be that of a missing 13-year-old boy, has also been found.

Three people were rescued by helicopter from a building in the city after they were stranded on the second floor of a factory.
